Awwww!
Everyone looks so nice; I’m totally jealous!
Those are great pictures!
Is there a link to a photo album other than the slide show?

I’m digging the new layout!
And I also like the new pic at the top. Did you take it?
It’s taken from the Lee estate at Arlington Cemetary, right?

Yes, I like this new layout too! I hated the old one even though it was functional. The picture is from Arlington Cemetary. I think Amit or my Dad took it.

Oh, cool. Whomever took it did a nice job.
It’s a nice picture. I like the way the trees frame the left, right, and bottom edges of the picture. It’s like a built-in border.
I think it’s especially it’s especially cool that the road behind the Lincoln Memorial is the only place on the edge that doesn’t have a border. Everything else is is enclosed within the frame, but you know that the road continues on its way even when it is no longer in the photo.
lol, I have trees as a border to the header image on my blog, too.
(You said that you were curious about photography…that’s the kind of airy-fairy discussion you have about image construction. It sounds kinda out there, but it can really be kind of fun.)
I liked the old layout, but I like this one even more.

Sorry if this is a double-post. Some of mine seem to not want to show up.
I was going to say, after I posted my last comment, I went over to your other blog, and I noticed that you use the curtains to frame the header image…they form a natural border to the photo.
Did you know that making “a frame within a frame” is considered a good photography trick? Or did it just kind of happen, twice?
(Even if you didn’t take the pic here yourself, you still selected it very appropriately).
Regardless, I’m wondering if photography might be something you have a knack for.
